"Cranks, Rooters and Bugs" - No not the name of a Mitchell Street law firm but the name given
to Base Ball Fans in the early days of the game. For $20.00 you can purchase an ad in the
"Tally Sheet" the official match day program of the Mossback Base Ball Club and show your support for what we hope is a new
community tradition.
RING UP THE TALLY
In Vintage Base Ball it's a rule that when a club tallies a run or an ace, the runner reports
to the tally keeper and rings the tally bell as a single to change the score. But there is a catch to this rule, the
Mossback don't have a scoreboard yet. If you would like help the Mossback Base Ball Club build their scoreboard / tally board limited
ad space is available on the board. Get us a ring if interested.
THE GREAT NORTHERN MICHIGAN
BASE BALL EXPOSITION
On August 21 and 22 the Mossback Base Ball will be hosting a multiple team, winner take
all Base Ball Tournament. (Winner geat a bucket full of Northern Michigan best fudge) The tournament will include a "community
night" and other planned activities. Many sponsorship opportunities here, including naming rights to the tournament.
Committ early to this project and take advantage of the media and PR opportunities. It is a real chance to get creative. Contact
